I Take Great Pleasure
In 1956 Cecil Beaton wrote a satirical, humorous book about America and Americans (both of which he loved) called I Take Great Pleasure.
It grew from an American tour and his talks at clubs, museums, and universities, his fear of public speaking, and his reminisces of what it was like to photograph Greta Garbo, for example, or Marlene Dietrich and Princess Margaret.
This is a First Edition, published by The John Day Company, New York, 1956.
